Este a\u00f1o iniciar\u00e1 el 15 de\u00a0mayo con\u00a0 \u00abEl gran Gatsby\u00bb del cineasta australiano Baz Luhrmann, protagonizada por Leonardo DiCaprio.<\/p>\n<p>Algunas de las cintas que competir\u00e1n por la Palma de Oro en Cannes 2013 son de los directores Roman Polanski, Steven Soderbergh, Paolo Sorrentino, Nicolas Windign Refn, los hermanos Coen, Alexander Payne, Hirokazu Kore-eda o Fran\u00e7ois Ozon.<\/p>\n<p>En la clausura del festival, el domingo 26 de mayo, se proyectar\u00e1 el thriller <em>Zulu<\/em>, rodado \u00edntegramente en Sud\u00e1frica por J\u00e9r\u00f4me Salle y adaptado de la novela hom\u00f3nima de Caryl F\u00e9rey.<\/p>\n<p>En cuanto a la presencia de producciones mexicanas, El Consejo Nacional para la Cultura y las Artes a trav\u00e9s del Instituto Mexicano de Cinematograf\u00eda felicit\u00f3 a la delegaci\u00f3n que participar\u00e1 en algunas de las secciones de este importante Festival. En la <strong>Secci\u00f3n Oficial<\/strong> se encuentra la cinta <em>Heli<\/em>, de Amat Escalante; en <strong>Una cierta mira<\/strong>da est\u00e1 <em>La jaula de oro<\/em>, de Diego Quemada-Diez y en <strong>Cin\u00e9Fondation<\/strong> participar\u00e1 el cortometraje <em>Contraf\u00e1bula de una ni\u00f1a disecada<\/em>, de Alejandro Iglesias.<\/p>\n<p>El jurado de esta edici\u00f3n estar\u00e1 presidido por el director y productor estadounidense Steven Spielberg. \u00abEl recuerdo de mi primer festival en Cannes se remonta a hace m\u00e1s de 31 a\u00f1os\u00bb, ha declarado Spielberg al Festival, \u00abpero sigue siendo uno de los momentos \u00e1lgidos de mi carrera. Desde hace m\u00e1s de seis d\u00e9cadas, Cannes es una plataforma incomparable destinada a descubrir pel\u00edculas extraordinarias procedentes de todo el mundo.
