Ya en 1996 gan\u00f3 el Best Student Award como Mejor Vocalista Jazz cuando estudiaba Performing and Visual Arts en Dallas en la Universidad del Norte de Texas.<\/p>\n<p>Sin embargo, fue cuando regresa a su ciudad natal y se encuentra con amigos como Lee Alexander o Jesse Harris que comienza una historia musical extraordinaria, desembocando en \u00abCome Away With Me\u00bb, lanzada por Blue Note Records en 2002 y que vendi\u00f3 m\u00e1s de 20 millones de copias alrededor del mundo.<\/p>\n<p>A partir de entonces Jones es una referencia musical en el mundo.
